Michael Armstrong

Deputy Town Supervisor

Personal:

Michael is single and currently has a daughter, Kaylee 

 

Career:

United States Army from 1987 to 1991

Whiteface Construction from 1991 to 1993

Franklin County from 1993 to 1996

NYS Department of Corrections from 1996 to 2023 (retired)

Town Council

Michael was elected to his position in November of 2005 and took office in January 2006.  He is currently serving his fifth term as a Town Councilman. His current term will expire in 2025.

Graduated from Salmon River Central 

Employed by the Department of Corrections

Town Council:

Sean was appointed to the town board to fill a vacant seat in 2023.  He was elected in the November 2023 election to the Board.

Brett is married and has 1 son.

He is also a member of the Westville Volunteer Fire Department.

 

Town Council:

Brett was elected in the November 2023 election to the town board to fill a vacant seat. He took office in January 2024.

Duties of the Town Board

  • Governing body of the Town

  • Approve all bills for payment

  • Serve on sub committees

  • Review and approve budget

  • Make final decisions which affect the entire Town

  • Assist in writing laws of the Town

  • Finalizing and approving all laws of the Town

  • Authorizes expenditures for specific projects not otherwise budgeted 

  • Approves all bids for Town Services and Materials
